Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work-life balance dan pengembangan karir terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan di Kantor Dinas Pariwisata Kota Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Data primer diperoleh dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pegawai guna mengukur persepsi mereka terhadap work-life balance, pengembangan karir, dan produktivitas kerja, sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari literatur dan dokumen terkait. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work-life balance dan pengembangan karir memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan. Karyawan yang merasakan keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi menunjukkan tingkat produktivitas yang lebih tinggi, sedangkan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan karir juga mendorong motivasi dan kinerja yang lebih baik. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pengelola sumber daya manusia di instansi tersebut menyusun kebijakan strategis yang mendukung keseimbangan kerja serta memperkuat program pengembangan karir. Dengan demikian, organisasi tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan, tetapi juga mencapai tujuan institusional secara lebih efektif. Model analisis yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan dalam merancang strategi pengelolaan SDM yang berkelanjutan di sektor pemerintahan.
