Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun aplikasi radio online berbasis web untuk Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (UMSIDA) sebagai sarana penyebaran informasi, edukasi, dan hiburan bagi civitas akademika serta masyarakat umum. Pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan pendekatan waterfall, melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Teknologi yang digunakan meliputi HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, serta protokol streaming audio Icecast. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi dapat berjalan dengan stabil pada berbagai perangkat dan peramban, serta mampu melakukan siaran audio secara real-time dan terjadwal. Aplikasi ini dinilai mampu menjadi media komunikasi institusi yang representatif dalam mendistribusikan konten audio secara langsung dan efektif.
