Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul "Pengaruh CyberBullying di Social Media Instagram terhadap Tekanan Batin dan Depresi Siswa SMAS Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung" bertujuan untuk mengukur dampak negatif CyberBullying yang terjadi di platform Instagram terhadap kesehatan mental siswa. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis melakukan survei terhadap 93 siswa untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai pengalaman mereka dengan cyber bullying serta tingkat tekanan batin dan depresi yang dialami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara CyberBullying dengan tekanan batin dan depresi. Data menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 30% siswa melaporkan mengalami tekanan emosional akibat interaksi negatif di media sosial. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik, ditemukan bahwa cyber bullying dapat menjelaskan 27,5% variasi dalam tekanan batin dan 20,1% variasi dalam depresi siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting mengenai perlunya edukasi dan dukungan psikologis di lingkungan sekolah. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu sekolah dan orang tua dalam mengembangkan program pencegahan dan intervensi yang lebih efektif terhadap CyberBullying, serta meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan mental remaja
