Abstract

Etika penelitian  dalam pendidikan menjadi fokus utama kajian ini dengan tujuan menganalisis prinsip, implementasi, serta berbagai bentuk pelanggaran etika yang muncul dalam praktik penelitian di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan menelaah literatur ilmiah mengenai etika penelitian pendidikan, serta menganalisis kasus nyata pelanggaran etika sebagai bahan refleksi kritis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pelanggaran etika seperti plagiarisme, manipulasi data, pelanggaran kerahasiaan, dan pengabaian persetujuan partisipan masih terjadi secara signifikan dalam berbagai konteks penelitian. Temuan ini juga menegaskan bahwa prinsip-prinsip dasar etika penelitian, yaitu beneficence, respect for persons, justice, integrity, dan responsibility, belum diterapkan secara konsisten oleh sebagian peneliti, terutama dalam penelitian yang melibatkan anak usia dini, peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, dan kelompok rentan lainnya. Analisis lebih lanjut mengungkap bahwa masalah etika tidak hanya disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman peneliti mengenai standar etis, tetapi juga oleh lemahnya pengawasan institusi serta tekanan akademik yang memicu praktik yang tidak etis. Berdasarkan refleksi kritis tersebut, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peningkatan integritas moral peneliti dan penguatan peran institusi dalam memastikan kepatuhan terhadap standar etika. Rekomendasi praktis diberikan agar peneliti pendidikan mampu menyeimbangkan tuntutan akademik dengan penerapan prinsip etis sehingga kualitas, keterandalan, dan integritas penelitian pendidikan dapat terjaga.
